The ҹɫè of Engineering of the University of Sannio (DING) is deeply committed to promoting a culture of Quality at all levels. In accordance with the Quality Strategy issued by the Rector, DING pursues the mission of continuous improvement in the areas of Research, Teaching, and Third Mission, both in terms of development and dialogue with the reference territory, and in terms of coordination and dialogue at the national and international levels.
In line with the aforementioned strategic guidelines and the University Strategic Plan, DING sets specific objectives in teaching, research, and third mission, which are expressed through specific goals and quantitative indicators in the ҹɫè of Excellence Plan 2018-2022 and the ҹɫè’s Biennial Plan 2023-2024. Within this context, DING aims to make relationships with organizations, institutions, and the labor market increasingly easier and more effective, but above all to activate an important factor of growth in internal productivity and enhancement of resources.
Human resources at all levels represent the fundamental element for achieving the planned objectives. In this context, and in line with what is established by the University Quality System, DING has implemented a System of Delegations and Delegate Commissions in the areas of Research, Teaching, Third Mission, and others.
The ҹɫè monitors its research, technology transfer, and third mission activities through an appropriate set of indicators present in the current ҹɫè Strategic Plan. These indicators are duly monitored on an annual basis in collaboration with the University Quality Office, which reviews the monitoring and interacts with the ҹɫè for consequent improvement actions.
Regarding Teaching, the contribution to the Quality Assurance of Degree Programs by the ҹɫè is also provided through the Joint Teaching Committee, which is unique for all Degree Programs and appointed by the ҹɫè Council.
The ҹɫè also has an internal Quality Assurance manager and is an active part of the University’s Quality Assurance system through a ҹɫè representative at the University Quality Office.
