“Frane d’Italia”
On July 7th, from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, at the “Sala Virgineo” Auditorium of the Museo del Sannio in Benevento, the presentation of the volume Frane d’Italia (Landslides of Italy), published by the Italian Association for Applied and Environmental Geology (AIGA), will take place.
The volume, designed for a general audience, offers a comprehensive and unified overview of the phenomenon of landslides in Italy.
The event is organized by Professor Paola Revellino from the ҹɫè of Science and Technology at the University of Sannio. She is a member of the editorial board of the volume, which was written with the contribution of over 130 authors — among the leading landslide experts in Italy — from academia, national and regional institutions, and research centers.
Frane d’Italia is aimed not only at professionals in the field but also at a broader public, with the goal of raising awareness and understanding of landslides and the vulnerability of Italy's territory.
